Our Equipment

Please take a look at the equipment we use on investigations
Visual

8 x Wired NightVision CCTV cameras

1 x Mini DV camcorder

1 x DVD camcorder

1 x Flash Camcorder

1x Hi 8 Camcorder

3 x Digital Camera: Used to take photos of locations for mapping and to try to capture visual anomalies on camera.

2 x 4 Camera DVR System: This is a system where we can watch and record images from 8 cameras at the same time using one screen. The images are recorded onto a hard drive.

2 x Flat screen PC Monitor: This is connected to the DVR to view the images.

1 x Aaronia Multidetector ll Electro smog EMF meter

1 x G-UK Advanced EMF meter

1 x 2G EMF Meter

1 x  Non Contact Laser thermometer

2 x 4 –in – 1 Environmental meters

 2 x Weather stations:

2 x Temperature sensor:

1 x Natural EM meter

 2 x Radiac survey meters

1 x Canum I Ultrasound Meter:

 1 x Negative Ion Detector

2 X Cellsensor EMF Meters

1 x Digital Tri field EMF Meter

Audio

3 x Digital Dictation Machines: Used to record sounds at a location and possible to attempt to record EVP's as well as documenting.

1 x Analogue Dictation Machine: Used to record sounds at a location and possible to attempt to record EVP's

6 x Walkie Talkies: These are used so the team can remain in constant contact with each other.

1 x Geophone: This device can amplify sounds so can be pressed onto a surface to amplify sounds such as footsteps. It also can alert the user to vibrations. This device is generally hooked up to a laptop so the data can be viewed in real time.

1 x Wireless Microphone: This microphone can be placed on a investigator or locked off room and then can wirelessly transmit back to the receiver in the HUB which can be connected to a speaker or Laptop.

2 x Wireless Headphones: The Headphones receive audio from a transmiter that can be connected to a device such as EMF Meter or Laptop. Also the transmiter can act as a microphone and transmit sound from another location to the headphones.

Computing

3 x Laptops: Used to input data: The Laptop can be connected to various meters including EMF and Ultrasound meters as well as wireless Microphones and Geophone. The Laptops are also used to input data and view photos.

Audacity Software: This Software is run on our laptops and gives a spectrum display of any audio collected. We can then view any audio being recorded in real time from our HUB. We are also able to monitor any change in the EMF field and Ultrasonic sounds via this program.

Experimental

1 x Laser Grid Pen - Green: The theory behind this is that the pen projects a curtain of green dots onto a surface causing a green curtain of light in a sense. The idea is that when there is a high build up of dust in a area then you can see via the light. Also the other aim is to try to catch some sort of Movement or distortion through the field of lights.

1 x Plasma Ball: The Theory behind this is that the Ball reacts to change in the RF field that is why the light goes to a person when the ball is touched. The theory is that the Ball acts as a Visual Radio Wave sensor so you can see the change in the field.

1 x Irish Windchimes: The setup for this is that windchimes are placed in a glass jar and placed in front of a camera on a stable surface free from vibrations the theory is that the chimes should not move because they cant be moved by wind or vibration. If they move then there is a unknown force working on the chimes.

1 x Crookes Radiometer- This peice is a old scientific apparatus that is still not sure why it works even by the person that created. The way this peice works is that there is a vane which is placed in a near vaccum. on the vane there are 4 panels, each with one Black side and one white side. The vanes react to light and spin. The brighter and more intense the light the faster it spins. It also spins the other way when it gets cold. It is used as a form of trigger object and a crude tempreture sensor.
